COURSE OVERVIEW:

This 10 week course provides theory, application and practice to help you to master the process of attracting, creating, and enjoying empowering romantic relationships (both as singles and couples). The self-exploration and development in this course is intense. The main objective of this course is to cultivate confidence, a sense of relaxed mastery, and the knowledge and skills to enjoy a dynamic, interdependent relationship with a significant other.

PROCESS:

Although this course is best done in ten weeks, learners are encouraged to approach the content in a self-paced, individualized way. One to one interaction with the course facilitator is a primary feature of this process. This course is done completely online from the comfort and privacy of your own home or office. All necessary study materials are included in the course fee, including readings and downloadable manual and applicable worksheets. You may enroll at any time.

OBJECTIVES:

This course is intended to provide the learner with the opportunity to:

• Understand and apply theory related to dependence, independence and interdependence
• Explore the dynamics of romance and the cultivation of a romantic relationship
• Explore principles of gender, societal expectations, role theory, stereotypic interactions, defence mechanisms, and communication patterns in relation to romantic relationships
• Engage in the process of self-exploration and historical review to understand personal patterns and behaviors in relation to romantic relationships
• Practice empowering techniques to enrich and empower romantic relationships
• Explore personal beliefs, values, behaviors that promote and/or inhibit romantic relationships
• Create a dynamic personalized plan for approaching romantic relationships in a powerful and effective way
• Apply, engage in and assess the utility of this personalized plan

ASSESSMENT

Learners will be assessed using the following methods (both self and instructor evaluation):

• Personal Journal and Weekly Worksheets: 20%
• Personal Romantic Relationship Analysis: 10%
• Personal Romantic Relationship Plan: 35%
• Romantic Relationship Plan Analysis: 25%

Upon completion, learners will receive a Certificate of Completion for a 30 hour course.

COURSE FEES

TOTAL TUITION: $99 USD which includes instruction, manual and worksheets.
